These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through the Big Maggy’s website. Our online store currently operates on a Click & Collect basis only and we do not offer delivery or shipping.

Ordering & payment
Orders placed through our website are subject to availability and acceptance by us.
Prices shown on the website are in pounds sterling and include any applicable Jersey taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is taken at the time the order is placed.
We do our best to ensure that product descriptions, specifications, images and prices are accurate. Occasionally errors can occur. If we discover an error affecting your order, we will contact you as soon as possible and give you the option to proceed with the corrected information or cancel the order for a full refund.
Stock availability
Stock levels shown online are intended to be as accurate as possible, but occasionally an item may have been sold, reserved or otherwise become unavailable before our systems update.
If we are unable to fulfil an order, we will contact you and refund any payment made for the unavailable item. We will not substitute a different product without your agreement.
Click & Collect
All online orders are for collection from:
Big Maggy’s, IFC 5, The Esplanade, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 3BY.
Please wait until we have confirmed that your order is ready before travelling to collect it.
We may ask for your order confirmation and reasonable proof of identity when an order is collected.
If somebody else will be collecting an order on your behalf, please let us know in advance.
Bikes requiring preparation
Some bikes and other products require assembly, safety checks, setup or preparation before collection. We will let you know when your order is ready.
Please don't arrive to collect a bike until we have confirmed that it is ready for you.
Where appropriate, we may also ask you to allow time at collection for basic setup, sizing or an explanation of the product.
Cancelling an online order
Purchases made through our website are subject to the Distance Selling (Jersey) Law 2007.
For most goods, you have the right to cancel your online order from the time the order is placed until 7 working days after the day you receive the goods.
To cancel, please contact us in writing, including by email at sales@bigmaggys.com, and provide your name and order details.
There are some legal exceptions to the right to cancel, including certain goods made or personalised specifically for you. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions affects your statutory rights.
Returns following cancellation
If you have collected an item and subsequently exercise a legal right to cancel, please contact us before returning it.
Until the item is returned, you are responsible for taking reasonable care of it.
Where you are responsible for returning goods following cancellation, they can be returned to our store during normal opening hours.
Where a valid cancellation is made under the Distance Selling (Jersey) Law 2007, we will refund sums due in accordance with that Law.
Faulty or incorrectly described goods
If something you buy from us is faulty, damaged, not as described or otherwise does not meet your statutory rights, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve it.
Your legal rights are against us as the retailer and are not affected by any manufacturer's warranty which may also apply.
Product images & specifications
Manufacturers occasionally change specifications, components, colours or packaging during a product's life.
We make reasonable efforts to keep our website accurate, but photographs are illustrative and colours may vary between displays. Where a specification or particular component is important to your purchase, please contact us before ordering and we will be happy to confirm it.
Nothing in this section limits your rights where goods supplied are not as described.
Pricing
We make every effort to ensure our prices are correct.
If a product has clearly been listed at an incorrect price due to a genuine error, we may contact you before accepting or fulfilling the order. You will be given the choice of purchasing the item at the correct price or cancelling the order for a full refund.
Warranty
Many products we sell are covered by a manufacturer's warranty. Warranty periods and conditions vary between manufacturers.
A manufacturer's warranty is additional to, and does not replace, your statutory rights against Big Maggy’s as the retailer.
Normal wear and tear, accidental damage, misuse and maintenance items are not normally covered by manufacturer warranties, although this does not affect any rights you have under Jersey law.
Uncollected orders
If an order is not collected within a reasonable period, we will attempt to contact you using the details supplied with your order.
If an order remains uncollected, we may cancel it and refund the payment to the original payment method. We will contact you before doing so.
Website availability
We aim to keep our website available and accurate, but cannot guarantee that it will always operate without interruption or technical errors.
We may temporarily withdraw products, amend information or suspend access to parts of the website where reasonably necessary.
Liability
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted, or any of your statutory consumer rights.
We will not be responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses arising from a purchase made by a consumer for personal use.
Personal information
We use the personal information provided when you place an order to process your purchase, communicate with you and provide customer service.

Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The terms applying to your purchase will be those in force when your order is placed.
Governing law
These Terms & Conditions and purchases made through our website are governed by the laws of Jersey.
