Free to set up
There is no charge for arranging your bespoke service schedule.
Built around your bikes
Plan the right visits for each bike, based on how much and how often you ride.
Less hassle
Have your dates arranged in advance, rather than waiting until the spring rush.
YOUR BIKES. YOUR RIDING. YOUR PLAN.
A schedule, built around you.
Your daily commuter and your fair-weather bike don’t necessarily need the same attention. Our Scheduled Service Plan lets us arrange the right visits for each bike, based on its use and your needs.
You might need an annual service with a useful check halfway through the year, more frequent servicing for a hard-working bike, or simply annual services booked ahead.
Setting up your SSP is free. Workshop work and any parts are charged as applicable when your bike comes in. Your schedule helps organise those visits in advance.
Your bike. Your rhythm.
These are examples of how we can structure your SSP. We agree the right approach for each bike.
Annual service + mid-point check
A yearly service with a Work Slot around halfway between, for adjustments or anything that needs attention.
More frequent servicing
For bikes that see heavier use, a six-monthly service schedule may be more appropriate.
Annual servicing only
For existing bikes where an annual visit is appropriate, we can plan those services without intermediate checks.
What is a Work Slot?
It is a workshop appointment for specific work, checks or adjustments, rather than a full service. Tell us what needs attention so we can confirm the booking is suitable. Charges depend on the work and parts required.
PLANNED AHEAD. FLEXIBLE WHEN NEEDED.
Life changes. Your plan can too.
Move a date
Let us know in good time and we’ll discuss another available appointment that works for you.
Swap between your bikes
If another bike needs attention first, tell us so we can update the booking and check the slot suits the work.
Pass a slot to a friend
Contact us first so we can change the customer and bike details and confirm the work fits the appointment.
Plan for more than one bike
Each bike can have its own schedule. We can also discuss coordinating household visits, subject to availability.
SSP customers receive priority on the waiting list for slot swaps and additional appointments. Availability still depends on workshop capacity.
One simple rule: at least 3 business days’ notice.
Please notify us of any cancellation, rebooking or change at least three business days before your booked appointment. This gives us time to offer the slot to someone on our waiting list. Missed appointments will be charged.
CARE IN EVERY DETAIL
Proper attention.
From inspection to test ride.
Good servicing starts with understanding the condition of your bike and the work it needs. From checking drivetrain wear to adjusting brakes and inspecting bearings, our workshop team works through the details that keep your bike performing well.
We service conventional bikes and eBikes, with dedicated electrical and diagnostic checks where applicable.
Both standard service options include a test ride and a final quality-control inspection by a second mechanic.

Your SSP questions, answered.
Is SSP a prepaid service package?
SSP is a service schedule. There is no charge to arrange it; workshop work and parts are charged as applicable at your visits.
Can I join with an existing bike?
Yes. We can discuss a suitable schedule for your existing bike, including annual servicing only where appropriate.
Can I include several bikes?
Yes. Each bike can have its own schedule to reflect how it is used. Tell us about your bikes and we’ll help plan suitable visits.
What about my new Big Maggy’s bike?
New bikes purchased from Big Maggy’s include a free safety check within 10 weeks of purchase. This includes a nut-and-bolt check and a brake and gear re-tune where needed, rather than a full service.
What if something needs attention before my next appointment?
Contact us straight away rather than waiting for your scheduled visit. SSP customers receive waiting-list priority for additional appointments, although an immediate slot cannot be guaranteed.
Can I move a date, swap bikes or give my slot to a friend?
Yes — contact us at least three business days before your appointment so we can update the booking. Replacement dates are subject to availability, and changes of bike or customer must be confirmed with us so the work fits the booked slot.
What happens if I miss my appointment?
If you miss your booked appointment, you will be charged for the missed slot. Please notify us of any cancellation, rebooking or change at least three business days before your appointment so we can offer it to someone on our waiting list.
When should I bring my bike in?
Please bring your bike in before 9am, and no later than 10am, on your booked day.
Do you service eBikes?
Yes. We service conventional bikes and eBikes. Tell us your bike and system details so we can confirm the work and diagnostic support required.
LET’S GET YOUR NEXT VISIT IN THE DIARY
Tell us what you ride.
We’ll help plan the rest.
Give us a call or speak to the team in store. Bring your bike details and a little information about how you use it, and we’ll agree a schedule that makes sense for you.
