Liquid sealant helps a tubeless tyre seal small punctures. Over time, that liquid dries out or gets used up, leaving less available to deal with the next puncture.
It’s easy to overlook because everything is hidden inside the tyre. You may only discover it when a puncture fails to seal or you find yourself dealing with a roadside repair.
Keeping the sealant fresh helps your tubeless setup keep doing what you chose it for.

How often will you remind me?
Every 16 weeks. The reminder prompts you to pop in for your next sealant refresh.
Do I need to book an appointment?
No appointment is needed for a routine plan top-up. Simply pop in during shop opening hours. A straightforward refresh typically takes around 10 minutes; waiting time can vary when the shop is busy.
How do I pay?
By monthly Direct Debit: £5 for a road bike, £6 for a gravel bike or £7 for a mountain bike. Speak to the team to arrange your plan.
Is this a tubeless conversion service?
This plan is for maintaining sealant in an existing tubeless setup. If you would like to convert your wheels, speak to us first so we can check compatibility and explain the work required.
Does fresh sealant prevent every puncture?
No. Sealant can help close small punctures, but larger cuts and other damage may still need a repair or replacement. It is still sensible to carry suitable roadside repair equipment.
Should I wait for my reminder if a tyre is losing pressure?
No — contact us if you notice unusual pressure loss or a problem with your tyres. The reminder is a maintenance prompt, rather than a reason to delay attention to a fault. Keep checking tyre pressure between visits.
Does this replace a full bike service?
No. The Tubeless Care Plan focuses on sealant maintenance. Your bike’s brakes, drivetrain, bearings and other components still need their usual care. Our Scheduled Service Plan can help organise that wider maintenance.
Are coffee and pizza included in the plan price?
Coffee and pizza are available separately from The Loft. Your monthly plan payment covers your Tubeless Care Plan.
