Weekend Road Rides

When: Saturday Mornings All-Year-Round!

Ride 1

Meet: 07:45 for coffee.
Depart: 8am
Ride Duration: 2hrs – 2.5hrs finishing at a Big Maggy’s.

Ride Speed: 27-29kph average according to ability/attendance.

Ability Level: Intermediate

Ride Cost: £Nil!!

Ride Info: Download the ‘Specialized Ride App‘ and tell us you’re coming – we use the App to communicate in closed groups for each ride.


Ride 2

Meet: 8am for coffee.
Depart: 8:30am.
Ride Duration: 1hrs 45mins – 2hrs finishing at a cafe somewhere, usually the Windmill or The Lookout

Ride Speed: 14mph – 16mph average according to ability/attendance.

Ability Level: Newcomers – low intermediate – learners

Ride Cost: £Nil!!

Ride Info: Download the ‘Specialized Ride App‘ and tell us you’re coming – we use the App to communicate in closed groups for each ride.

Helmet Policy: We recommend helmets are worn but it’s not the law – your head / your choice.

Things You Need to Know About Our Rides:

– All Welcome
– No Fees
– Wear What Kit You Like, your club kit, dress like Froomey, whatever floats your boat
– We recommend you have insurance with British Cycling or similar to ensure you are covered for 3rd party incidents (ask if you’re not sure)
– Riders ride at their own liability

Tuesday Gravel Rides

When: Tuesday evenings all-year-round.
Meet: 5pm onwards.
Depart: 6pm.
Ride Duration: 1.5hrs – 2hrs cycle cross trails and mild technical trails (If you don’t have a CX bike – bring a MTB).

Ride Speed: Aim 12-15mph.

Average Ability Level: Intermediate upwards – all welcome. This ride stops at various points throughout for a breather and for hints, tips and advice for newcomers.

Ride Cost: £Nil, just buy us a coffee when you’re passing by next!
