Rain
My two week summer holiday in December, not really summer you might say but we left Jersey with the wind & rain and headed for north Africa. Surely there would be sun and warmth. The Internet research showed an average temperature of 22 degrees and lots of sun & the Internet is always right – wrong. Today the atlas mountains are shrouded in cloud, Marrakech is wet and even the Germans have removed their towels from the poolside. Third world communication being what it is means my phone won’t work in the remote area that this gorgeous hotel is located. The coffee isn’t magnusmaximus (yet) but it is passable and I have enough reading material to keep me going so the day isn’t a write off yet. Susan has arranged for us to go mountain biking tomorrow, I hope the rain clears and the temp gets above 12 degrees or this could be a long holiday.
