Power Friggin Metres

Well just started reading Hunter Allen’s book on Training with Power. Already Im frustrated and I’m only on the first chapter, there are so many options and implications to consider with power training, Im mean technically bike spec wise. Maybe most obvious to me though already, is the fact that a crankset based metre is clearly the way to go and Im thinking either an SRM (SRM Cranks) or a Quark (Quarq Cranks)

This is an an important decision to make, not just for me personally but for Big Maggys, I sense we will settle on one solution an one only, then sell it with confidence!

S’all for now

Actually, I’ve just changed to Powertap with the Joule 2.0 head unit, I’ve had SRM in the past (which is very good) and polar (which seems to be a random number generater), don’t right off Powertap, I’ve had no issues at all and with Hunters WKO software it works really well.

PS.. Great job with the new venture
