Moulding their Minds
Yesterday, apart from being bloody cold, saw me at work at a few minutes after 0700. It was still dark.. What is all that about? After a bit of flying and a brief break to meet Moffs of a cuppa, I found myself in the land of Donkeys and ribbon development (Guernsey). Fortunately for me my brother and his family moved there a few years ago and as a result, when on a nightstop with work I get the opportunity to visit my nephew and niece. Yesterday’s visit coincided with the posting about the gorgeous Storck Aero2 and as a result the three of us sat around my I-Phone watching the video of the two bikes. My niece and nephew were pointing at all the curves and making admiring noises about the colour-scheme and the way the handle-bars were smooth into the top tube for aero reasons. The ‘buttons’ to change gear were a bit ‘James bond/Star-wars’ and could they be used for firing guns and missiles…??!! ! ? It was at this point I thought I may be losing them but no the wheels were a nice colour too. My sister-in-law suggested I taught them both to ride without stabilizers before I put them on a bike designed for someone about 5 times their age. Jake is 5 and Martha 3 but they know what a Storck aero is and they know they want one…..each.
