Comms & a Catch Up

Since arriving in Morocco I have been feeling a bit remote from the goings on with Big Maggys. This has been down to the lack of communication between Tony and myself but not through our own doing. For some reason the wi-fi in the hotel wouldn’t let me send or receive e-mail and my telephone wouldn’t connect to the local networks. My only point of contact was via the e-mail option on Facebook and that is reliant on Tony remembering to reply to me. Now Susan and I have moved to a Riad (Small Hotel) in the centre of Marrakech the Wi-Fi is allowing me to send and receive and I put an E-mail to my friends at Airtel-Vodafone to ask why i couldn’t use the phone. They replied within a few minutes and now I am ‘Fully Comm’d Up’ again.
Tony & I just spent the better part of an hour having a catch-up about what I have missed this week with Big Maggys. The interior design – wow. I now have the floor plans and it is really exciting. The initial stock order – wow again. Some really good-looking bling for you to feast your eyes on. New Kit – some EXCLUSIVE kit that we have been working on will be happening and will be in a store in St Helier. The Logo – wait and see. Opening is still planned for very early March.
If you are thinking of a new build up project for next season then have a chat with Moffs. We now have at least eight frame manufacturers to choose from, the three main groupset maufacturers, several carbon finishing kits, some super sexy carbon saddles and from memory at least five wheel manufacturers. Obviously we are not going to stock every size of every frame or every wheel option but we will be very happy to custom build to your budget and your specification. For me, it will be the Storck with the Reynolds and the Oval bars, or maybe the Principia with the deep Heds, perhaps the Blue AC1SL with Gipiemme and Sram red. Whichever it will be, before you make your decision, you will always be able to come to Big Maggys and try our bikes out for yourself. I am looking forward to riding with you already.
